I worked in Walgreens from March to September, and it’s something I regret. I never worked retail only warehouses, and when I tell you the amount of bs I’ve had to deal with in that store had changed my core as a human.
For context the store was right next to me and I live in New York. The store manager was a smart ass, and would have mood swings, God knows a lot of my coworkers couldn’t stand her and we had to bite our tongues when she would be nice one second and then start berating us the next .
I thought I would just be working as a cashier but apparently I had to be custodian too, photographer,mop, sweep, vacuum and throw out the trash and help with inventory. All for minimum wage mind you, I also go to school so it’s not like I was going to stay here, but I only stayed here for 6 months and I hated working there idk how people work there for years.
The amount of entitled and rude customers I have to deal with is insane. Some come in smelling like weed, or poop. Yeah hygiene is too much ask for. Repeatedly forgetting their numbers for my Walgreens. Asking for discounts and price match, when Walgreens clearly doesn’t have that. People that think it’s okay to yell. They clearly have no respect for retail workers and talk to us in any type of way. It’s made me generally become much more introverted and avoid people if it’s possible.

I usually find myself always upgrading units that pair well with my Good generals, rather than upgrading units and then finding generals to go with them.
For example Timur and El Cid are my best generals, so I spend many SOW’s upgrading conquistadors, Imperial Bow cavalry, and Zhuge Battalions. Every now and again I upgrade other units just to keep things a little balanced and presentable, but more often than not I’m Upgrading these units or saving up SOWs to upgrade these units.
But then I see many in the community talk about Templars being good units or just charging cavalry in general being good (I personally like the gendarme knights) yet I hardly upgrade those at all.
And again, the only reason I don’t have those upgraded is because Charlemagne is another (mid, but decently upgraded) good general of mine, and so I end up upgrading the hospitaller Knights over any charging Cavalry.
Idk I’ve drones on enough, but am I doing it backwards? Is it better to upgrade the high-tier units over only upgrading Units for my High-tier generals? Should I start investing in Knights templars over Bow cavalry for Timur?

I (31f) moved to a different city 3 years ago. It’s only 2 hours away from where I’m from. I moved here because my whole family was moving here. I’m barely making ends meet. I feel like I’m just fucking up left and right and I just don’t know what to do anymore.
I know this doesn’t make much sense. I’m not a good writer and I’m not good at explaining things. But I’m just sad and wish I had somebody to love and support me.

Did my core1 a+ today at an exam centre (call me old fashioned) and I gotta say although I passed with a 758- that exam was NOT easy.
I studied using comptia E-Learn material - I learned ALOT from this resources and the lab which was cool. I found the exam (in my case atleast) didn’t question anywhere near the amount that I studied. Some people would think t that’s “easy” but it actually made it harder. I spent months learning every port number, what runs on them, every wifi standard and every darn cable known to man only to get questions on many “what would you do” scenarios and painfully more on printers!
Tips for anyone taking the exam soon- the questions can be worded sometimes to trick you and often there is a key word in the question to guide you to an answer such as what’s the BEST option. What’s the MOST LIKELY or what’s the FIRST thing you do.
It’s a shame because although it was difficult in its own way- I was hoping I’d get tested to be able to show off all the facts I’d learned about networks, ports, wifi standards, cabling standards etc.
