Best defense playbooks in madden 22

I wanted to find out if there's a correlation between how many changes clubs make to their squad after they get promoted from the 2nd division and their success in their league season in the 1st division.
Do more changes lead to better results because you need to buy players of higher quality? Do less changes lead to better results because the players know each others already? Is there absolutely no correlation whatsoever?
This is how I have decided to measure the gravity of the changes made to the team: I picked the 16 players with the most minutes played in the season in 2nd tier and added together the minutes these players played in the following season in the 1st division. The result I would then divide through all minutes of all players played (38*90*11) and so I got a figure between 0 and 1. The closer the stat is to 0.0 the more changes were made to the team and vice-versa with the proximity to 1.0. To keep it simple I'll call this figure from now on the "minute-stat". The actual stats I got for the teams ranged from 0.16 to 0.84 Also to shorten things I will from now on call the 16 players also "key players".
I did it for all the 5 big european leagues separately and computed scatterplots with the x-axis the ranking in the 1st division and the y-axis the minute-stat. It includes all teams that were promoted from 2010/11 until 2022/23. The limits for the y-axis are the same for all graphs.

The line is basically perfectly even, so there's no correlation to derive. Let's look at the outliers: The dot on the right bottom is Córdoba 14/15, their approach to turn everything topsy-turvy didn't work out as they still came last in the table. They actually kept 10 of their 16 most fielded players of the prior season but only 1 of them was relevant enough for them to play more than 1400 minutes in LaLiga. They loaned lots of players with arguable LaLiga quality like Nabil Ghilas, Rene Krhin, Bebé, Fede Cartabia, Bruno Zuculini, Fausto Rossi, Héldon. 3 managers and 38 games later, they have won only 3 games, scored just 22 goals and were relegated with 15 points backlog to safety.
The other dot that stands out is the one on the very top. 83% of the minutes in the LaLiga season of Real Sociedad 2010/11 have gone to key players from 09/10. It's the 2nd highest percentage of all teams across the 5 leagues from 10/11 - 21/22.

Unlike LaLiga here is a clear tendency visible: Teams which make fewer changes to their team after getting promoted tend to do worse on average. But I should note we have an artifical outlier here who skews the regression line. Why "artificial"? Because the dot on the very left represents AS Monaco 14/15 and they spent 160 million euros (on Falcao, James Rodríguez, João Moutinho, Kondogbia,...) which no other promoted team in Ligue 1 could ever realistically afford. However, even if we take them out of the plot the line is still ascending, but a bit less steep, of course.
Btw: Randomly, for the first 11 seasons of the 13 looked at no promoted side ever finished as 17th or 18th - usually places often occupied by these teams. However this season Auxerre and Ajaccio finished on these 2 ranks and last season Clermont as 17th.

There are notably less dots on this graph because Bundesliga has a promotion play-off between 16th and 3rd which in the majority of the time is won by the 16th of the 1st division. The line is just slightly ascending but if we take Leipzig (the dot on the very left), who are just like Monaco somewhat of an artificial outlier, out of the equation the line would be ascending at a higher rate.
The highest dot represents Hasenhüttl's Ingolstadt 15/16 who gave 80% of their minutes to key players of the prior season they have comfortably stayed up that season.
There's one dot that is by far lower than the rest of the pack, meaning this team have changed the most around in their team after the promotion. It didn't work out for them because they immediately went down again as second-to-last. The dot is representative of Schalke in the season which just ended, so just like in the next league we will review the team which is responsible for the lowest dot of the graph is one that got promoted in the 2021/22 season...

This is the only league in which the line is clearly descending. It's also well visible that all 7 teams with a minute-stat well below 0.50 ranked among the last 5 in the league. Only teams with a figure of 0.50 or more managed to rank in the safe midtable-zone.
As just suggested the team with the lowest dot also played in the current PL season and to the surprise of absolutely nobody it's Nottingham Forest who brought in around 30 new players after they have been promoted. While they did rank low in the table, like all other Championship promoters in the 12 seasons prior to them who changed a lot to their teams, they managed to finish outside of the bottom-three and stay up, unlike Schalke.
But that keeping your team together as well as possible doesn't necessarily have to be a successful formula either display the two highest dots in the graph which are both at the right end and consequently got relegated. The teams we are talking about are Norwich City 19/20 (0.84) and Burnley 14/15 (0.80). Daniel Farke actually fielded all 16 key-players in the Premier League, the only such occasion in the 13 PL seasons. Every single one of them played at least 585 minutes as well so realistically you really can't get much higher than that in that stat and it's also a record-high across the 13 seasons and all 5 leagues.

At last, the hardest league for promoted teams, the Serie A. The line's perfectly even but what is still noticable is that all the dots are further to the left than in the other leagues.
We have a few huge outliers we want to look at. The team at the top worlds apart from the rest with 0.76 is Sarri's Empoli of 14/15, he kept 15 of the 16 key-players more than any other Serie A team in consideration.
On the right-bottom with a record-low of 0.16 Benevento 17/18, just like Córdoba they went down as 20th and with 21 points collected they were very far from safety too. 14 Matchdays into the season they even on their course to a season with zero points until they drew 2-2 against AC Milan tanks to a last minute header of their goalkeeper.
The only team to finish in the one-digit zone after promotion is Ivan Juric's Hellas Verona in 19/20.

These are the averages for ranking and the minute-stat of promoted teams for the different leagues:
LaLiga: 14.8 - 0.51
Ligue 1: 14.7 - 0.52
Bundesliga: 13.0 - 0.60
Premier League: 15.3 - 0.58
Serie A: 16.4 - 0.45
Serie A is both the hardest league for promoted teams as well as the league in which these teams make the most changes to their squad after their promotions. It was said a few times that in the PL season which just ended all 3 promoted club stayed up, well in the Serie A this is yet to happen since 2010/11 (Serie A is the only league where that's the case). Teams who go up from 2. Bundesliga and Championship keep their squad together the most.
I already mentioned that Daniel Farke kept all his key-players at Norwich after winning the Championship 18/19, I also want to reveal the other 3 such cases: Sporting Gijón 15/16 (stayed up as 17th), Espanyol 21/22 (went down the first time in ages if not ever, so I guess it makes sense, they kept their squad together, they became 14th that season), Sankt Pauli 10/11 (like Norwich, they went down without a chance, ranking last).
No promoted team in Ligue 1 even kept 15 key players, the most was 14 by 6 teams.
On the other hand, this is the team that kept the fewest key players:
Deportivo Alavés in 2016/17, they only granted 6 out of the 16 players minutes in the 1st division. They still got a relatively high minute-stat of 0.33 because all of the 6 players got lots of minutes to play. Alavés strengthened their team in Summer 2016 with the likes of Marcos Llorente, Theo Hernández and Deyverson and surprisingly ended the season as 9th which is the 4th best league finish for a promoted team in Spain in the space of time I looked at.
Alavés is tied with Nottingham Forest 22/23 who also kept only 6 key players.
All PL teams (except Nottingham) kept at least 9 of their 16 key players, all Bundesliga teams even kept at least 10 of the 16 key players except Stuttgart 17/18 who still kept 9.
Bologna 15/16 and Metz 16/17 (both stayed up as 14th) kept just 7 of them.
I eventually threw all the teams from the 5 leagues together in one plot and this is the result.

The upwards and downwards trends of the leagues balance each other out and make for an even (slightly descending) line.

I'm back with another episode review, this time of Waking History, an episode I finally saw for the first time today. Season 7 has been out for a while, so is this episode a good start for it?
Positives * Most of these positives are passive-aggressive positives that only work "in comparison". In other words, the bare minimum. Just like Day of the Dad, I don't like the inclusion of sci-fi, but unlike Day of the Dad and other episodes, this episode utilizes the sci-fi in a way that doesn't feel forced. In other words, not using sci-fi for the sake of it. * The show makes a bold choice in going full speed ahead with these absurd plots--this premise is silly, and the show knows that. I don't like them, but it's admirable to me that the show isn't afraid to be goofy. * Another thing I want to applaud is that the plot feels natural. Only really one small plothole and one contrivance at the very beginning (I personally wouldn't just leave a 5 year old who's expressed an interest to reanimate one of my exhibits unattended next to said exhibit...). * The moral made sense and was executed decently (though Lisa managed to avoid consequences for her actions; I will be shocked if Alvarez can trust Lisa again after she lied to her twice). The climax is.. acceptable (will elaborate if asked), and finally, the ending made sense, not utilizing a deus ex machina to quickly get its characters out of the situation they found themselves in. That gets the positives out the way, now for the criticism!
Lisa * Sadly, this episode does something Loud House does a lot, intentionally or not so; writing a character as less intelligent than they should be to fit the needs of the story. Lisa does and says things she would be above in earlier seasons. A good defense for this I saw in the singular other full review of this episode that was available is that Lisa is "still a very young girl with social problems and has to consider the dangers of treading unexplored territory". While I acknowledge that Lisa has some social ineptitude problems, my counterpoint is that previous iterations of Lisa were never this... naive. This is something Lisa would've picked up on in earlier seasons, with or without social ineptitude problems.
Structure * I consider it a bad sign when I can predict exactly what happens in an episode before I even watch it. I desperately hoped this episode wouldn't play out exactly as I expected, but it did. I don't mind simplistic stories where you can expect what happens--that's what the show is built off of--but the saving grace (AKA the jokes) didn't come through for me. With that, there was nothing left to excuse the episode for being generally formulaic and unimaginative. * The episode can be also repetitive at times--after Lisa reanimates Frances (the cavewoman), they waste a lot of time going through the museum with Lisa observing Frances, something that would probably be more tolerable if it had jokes I laughed out.
Fixes * I wonder what's the point of writing a section like this when most of my issues boil down to "I don't like the jokes". Overall, the main thing I'd focus on is Lisa. I'm not sure how to have her be the subject of an episode like this, when this is an issue with Lisa episodes in general--she comes across as more inept than she should be to learn a lesson, so a premise like this is dead on arrival. Something I could see working is this: Lily is learning about cavemen and wants to see a live caveman. Lisa is developing a reanimate ray, and warns Lily not to use it. Obviously she uses it. While fascinated by Frances at first, things quickly go wrong and she has to enlist Lisa for help. Yeah at this point it’s kinda a ripoff of Small Blunder and yeah it’s not perfect but it’s the best I got.
Answering my question from earlier, no. This is not a good start for the season. Welp, that’s all! If you enjoyed the episode, awesome. He played as good a defense as you can ask for, and wasn't an abomination like Game 2. His one mistake was his usual butter hands turnover, but overall we were a +4 in his 6 minutes with him playing as good defense against Jokic as you can really ask for. He also had the best defensive rating of any player in non garbage time minutes.
We lost the game during two junctures of the game: The first and most critical juncture was the time between the 2nd quarter and most of the 3rd quarter where we got outscored by 16 points, and Zeller was on the bench for all of that. The second is when we allowed a 11-4 run to start the 4th quarter which, again, was without Zeller being in.
The real reason we lost was because during those two junctures, which span more than two quarters, we scored just 42 points. We aren't winning any games vs the Nuggets where we score 42 points in a little over a half of basketball.
Big credit to Denver's defense because they made a point of emphasis to stick with our shooters and allow a minimal amount of open 3s and take their chances with us shooting 2s that were more open than the first two games. And if it's a battle between us shooting 2s vs Denver shooting 2s, they're going to win 95% of the time with how skilled Jokic+Murray are from 2s compared to how much we've struggled in that area.

I'm a 22 year old trans guy and in January I moved to a city because it's easier to get trans healthcare and yet I've done nothing yet. I know of an organization that I can call and get an appointment with and they really helped a friend of mine with getting therapists and doctors appointments so he could get started with testosterone and changing his name. I haven't called yet. I have really bad anxiety and I just can't get it over with even though I can barely look in a mirror because of my dysphoria.
I constantly see people younger than me already on T and getting gendered correctly and while I'm so happy for them I'm also incredibly jealous. I also only came out a bit more than a year ago so for most people it's a rather big change and I still get misgendered by the people I consider my best friends.

TL; DR: Unless Nintendo has some serious plans hidden away (i.e. whole new console for 2024), there is no way the Switch is dead pre-2030. If Nintendo comes out with either Switch Lite 2.0 and/or Switch Pro circa 2024-2026, then it's very much alive until at least 2026-2028.
Of course, after that, there will still be millions of core Switch fans that don't move to the new console until it's cheapebetter, if at all; thus, the Switch will remain fairly alive until at least 2027, if not 2035. Years after its end, as is the case with most major consoles.
Following the logic of YouTubers, the PS4 must be 'dead' now, since it no longer has new major games, and the PS5 is going strong. Yet, the PS4 is still actively supported by Sony, and has millions of core users. The PS4 won't be dead until at least 2030 (17 years). Just like the PSP, Xbox 360, and others (16–17 years).
Consoles seem to die about half-way into the life of the next generation. In other words, about 15 years (where a whole generation is akin to a whole generation of users: 25 years). This makes perfect sense.
Thus, the Switch will last, overall, at least 15 years (2017-2032).
Let's talk about it. So, there has been a lot of talk over the last few months, that the Switch is coming to an end (at least, somewhat officially). The problem is as follows:

• Even if Nintendo has major Switch Pro plans for 2024-2025, the Switch OLED is still pretty new and selling fairly well.
• They are still pumping out lots of digital content, and new physical games are going to be pumped out into 2024, at least.
• There is unspeakable support for the Switch overall, considering the strong fanbase across the Internet, and the unit sales (according to this Wiki page, reporting the sales at around 125 million as of mid-2023, making it one of the best-selling consoles of all time), driven by its hybrid nature, lack of major competition, and Switch-only titles.

Yes, most of these unit sales are from 2017-2018 with the original Switch, as everybody rushed on it. But, it's still selling about as good as any other single console right now, if you compare all the numbers. (Note that the Wiki link above also shows that every other niche, hybrid, and/or handheld console is failing horribly, or else doesn't even exist. There are no realistic alternatives to the Switch. The numbers speak for themselves. Maybe the PlayStation Q takes off, but I don't think it'll reach Switch levels at all, for a few reasons -- and it won't hurt Switch sales too much.)
Further, if Nintendo merely updates the Switch family in some way, even as early as late-2024, then there won't be much -- if any -- shift away from the Switch as such until at least 2026, with support remaining until at least 2030. It's illogical for them to bring out a Switch Pro for just 1–2 years; and it's illogical for them to radically shift away from the Switch family of consoles too early!
Following this logic, the Switch family (v1 through Pro) must remain not only official, but very much alive until at least 2026. This is in keeping with the life span of such a dominant, wide-ranging (either at the level of hardware or software) consoles, as the Game Boy, PS2, and Wii. After that, it shall remain semi-supported and semi-popular until at least 2030.
The fact that Tears of the Kingdom is the last big Zelda game on the system does not mean it's coming to an end. Yet, I have heard this a few times from big YouTubers and such over the last few weeks.
Let's have a look at the facts.
Hardware
On the unit/model front, we know that it's likely that a Pro model comes along by 2024 and remains strong until at least 2026. We know this because that's how it has been for almost every major console (from all companies) since the late-1990s.
The Switch is, of course, both handheld and home, which is a bit messy -- but it's primarily a home console (if we look at the stats on sales and how most people play with it). However, it's possible that we don't get the Switch Pro until 2025 or so, only furthering the life span (unless there is a whole cultural move away from the Switch, which seems unlikely).
To make a long story short, we typically see a new model/upgrade to a system every 2 years, for a total of 3–4 upgrades. After that, the system itself is slowly phased out for 2–6 years, until the new system comes out (i.e. PS4 > PS5), giving us a total life of around 8–14 years. Obviously, this depends on many factors, including (a) company direction; (b) tech issues/exact nature of the system; and (c) how long you can keep the current system dominant/strong for. After that, you will have a few extra years of support and/or popularity, until it's fully dead after around 12–18 years.
Even if the new Switch Pro only sells 20 million units, if you couple that with the 15 million OLED sales (as of 2023), then that's still close to the PS5 sales, and that's only 30% of the entire Switch family/models!
We are not only not near the end of the Switch, we're really only about 50% of the way through, I believe. But, you may define 'end of life' differently. If you define 'end of life' as, 'last massive title', then you may be correct: unclear. But, that seems moot, if it still remains popular and supported for years to come.
Software
So, let's look into this idea that every Nintendo console ends with a big Zelda game.

• The NES ended with Zelda II in 1987, yet the SNES did not come out until 1990 (and the NES still saw support and popularity for a few years, more so outside of Japan and America, as everywhere else got it much later). Let's just call it 4 years, then. However, we saw a few popular titles for the NES, post-1990, including Mega Man 6, Pac-Man, Jurassic Park, Alien 3, Bomberman II, Batman Returns, Mega Man 5, Contra Force, Panic Restaurant, Yoshi, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III, The Addams Family, Mega Man 4, Mega Man 3, Dr. Mario, Castlevania III, and Final Fantasy.
• The SNES ended with A Link to the Past in 1991, yet the N64 did not come out until 1996 (and the SNES still saw support and popularity for a few years, more so outside of Japan and America, as everywhere else got it much later). Let's just call it 6 years, then. However, we saw a few popular titles for the SNES, post-1996, including Frogger, Kirby's Dream Land 3, Madden NFL 98, Space Invaders, Harvest Moon, Donkey Kong Country 3, SimCity 2000, Ms. Pac-Man, and Super Mario RPG.
• The N64 ended with Majora's Mask in 2000, and the GameCube did come out in 2001 (more so, 2002 world-wide). Of course, the N64 still remained popular into the 2000s, and saw some popular titles between 2000 and 2002 (after the last Zelda game), including Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2 and 3, Dr. Mario 64, Madden NFL 2002, Pokémon Stadium 2, Conker's Bad Fur Day, Paper Mario, Banjo-Tooie, Spider-Man, Batman Beyond, Star Wars Episode I, and Mega Man 64.
• The GameCube ended with Twilight Princess in 2006, and the Wii came out in 2006. Well, this was right on the money. No major titles came out post-Princess. This was a clear shift to kill the GameCube and replace it with the Wii, a whole new direction (likely because the GameCube was failing, and they had no hope of directly competing with the PS2/Xbox). And, it was one of the last games for the GameCube.
• The Wii ended with Skyward Sword in 2011, and the Wii U came out in 2012 (but, the world did not get it until 2013 or so). However, the Wii got some major titles or ports post-2011, including Mario Party 9, LEGO Batman 2, The Amazing Spider-Man, LEGO: The Lord of the Rings. And, it remained popular beyond this point, of course.
• The Wii U ended in 2017 with Breath of the Wild, and the Switch came out in 2017 with the same title. However, the Wii U is also still fairly popular (and is a decent home version of the Switch for many core titles, such as Zelda), though no major games came out after Breath of the Wild! Some people still play the Wii U instead of the Switch as of 2023; however, the store was just closed in 2023, so it's really ending now, after 11 years.
• The Switch has just seen Tears of the Kingdom this year (2023), with the Switch having arrived with Breath of the Wild in 2017. Well, if the home consoles are any indication, we at least have a few years left before the Switch is fully dead: more likely that we see at least 5 cool games over 2023 and 2024, and a few years of semi-support after that as millions keep playing the games that already exist.

Of course, it's a bit more confusing than this, given all the handhelds. And, it's possible that Nintendo plans on really sticking with the Switch, in which case, they may be planning on a third Zelda game for it, or else a new massive Mario game. That will boost its energy again, more so, if coupled with a Pro model circa 2024-2025.
All of this leads me to believe that the Switch will not die until at least 2030 (and the final support won't end until at least 2035), with or without another Zelda game! However, something will be required: either a Switch Pro, a Switch Lite 2.0, and/or a new massive game outside of Zelda. And, I'm 90% certain that at least one of these is coming by 2025. Remember: worst case for the Switch is that they bring out a whole new console by 2024-2025, and slowly phase out the Switch. This still won't truly kill the Switch until at least 2030. I wouldn't call that 'soon', as some people are! That's still many years left. (I do think it's a great time to buy the OLED, however -- and it does seem that 90% of the library is complete now. Unless you really want to wait to see what they have planned for 2024-2025. Of course, the Switch Lite itself seems like a decent option purely for handheld, though it may be a struggle for big hands: there is mixed evidence on this. I don't think a Switch Lite 2.0 is likely at all, but take that with a grain of salt, as it's impossible to know.)
Remember, too: Nintendo has stated that it won't be gifting us new hardware until at least mid-2024; instead, it's focusing on new games and ports as the Switch grows out. Seems logical to me, and pretty good news for the fans.
Tears of the Kingdom is not the end, but more like mid-journey for the Switch family, with or without a new console -- so, just enjoy the ride. :)

So for my scifi series, I looked at the realistic aspects of how production and purpose for ships in a scifi. So I worked on it for my series.
Void ships- space only ships. Incapable of landing or taking off from planets. They are the best for interstellar travel and the most maneuverable in the vacuum of space. Built in space docks or space elevators. These are the ideal crafts for battles off world.
Planetary ships- aerodynamic and are the best suited for any atmosphere or gaseous environments. Unable to operate or maintain pressure in space. These crafts are mainly used for planetary travel and defense.

So freaking what if it’s got human DNA? If something or someONE is harming me, threatening my health or my LIFE, and will 100% rip me open from the inside out at a predetermined time, then I have the right to defend my own heath and body. I don’t care how it got there, I care that I cannot retreat from it. That is the basic standard of self defense.
NO PERSON under the law is allowed to use another person’s body without their consent, so whether or not abortion is considered killing a person, or seen as a medical procedure, is irrelevant, because it is an entity that absolutely WILL harm someone’s body at a certain point, ripping them open from the inside out— at best. Pregnancy wrecks your body sideways, and would absolutely constitute the level of damage considered assault if done by any other living breathing human being. Therefore abortion would then be considered an appropriate form of self-defense.

1: the use of force to defend oneself 2 : an affirmative defense (as to a murder charge) alleging that the defendant used force necessarily to protect himself or herself because of a reasonable belief that the other party intended to inflict great bodily harm or death
“Lethal threat” is not the threshold for self defense, “threat of bodily harm” is the threshold. If I reasonable leave, you’re going to severely harm me, I can stop you, all the way to the point where I kill you, before you inflict that harm. This is what the Encyclopedia Britannica has to say on the subject:
“self-defense, in criminal law, justification for inflicting serious harm on another person on the ground that the harm was inflicted as a means of protecting oneself. In general, killing is not a criminal act when the killer reasonably believes that he is in imminent danger of losing his life from an assailant or of suffering serious bodily injury and that killing the assailant is necessary to avoid the peril.”
If someone breaks into my house and they have a gun, they don’t have to actually harm me for me to kill them in self defense— at least not in most red states that have abortion bans. Even if someone I invited over comes into my house and proceeds to threaten me at that point, I can still kill them in self defense if my life is threatened— invite or not. If a ZEF ends up in my uterus, and I am not okay with what’s happening to my body, then I can do whatever I need to do to keep myself safe. It really doesn’t matter how it got there if it’s currently threatening my life and I cannot retreat.
The fact that the ZEF has human DNA is irrelevant. The fact that sex was had that lead to conception is irrelevant. I am a born human— I do not deserve to stuffer, die or potentially lose organ function because a group of people believe that just carrying human DNA qualifies something/someone to use my body if I had sex which they deem immoral.
If you disagree, please show how/why simply having human DNA is any kind of qualifier for using other peoples bodies against their will.

We have all seen post after post on the rising property taxes with folks mentioning 20% increases and $1,000+ increases. I’m also feeling that sticker-shock and didn’t enjoy getting that piece of mail this year. There has been a lot of discussion about the school budget, and some data going around about our school taxes per home and per person, the increases relative to growth, the salary of the superintendent, etc. It’s all good and relevant information but none of these posts have shared the other side of the story…which is what we are buying with our taxes. We have high (and rising) property taxes, but we need to acknowledge what we are getting from those taxes. What we are getting in exchange for our high school taxes per person is one of the best school districts in the state. Now, you may not care about that, and that’s fine, but it’s disingenuous to talk only about the inputs and not the results. To be very clear, I’m not telling anyone how they should prioritize their tax dollars as it relates to education, I’m just adding much needed context that I feel is too often ignored - our exceptional schools we have in this county,
Here is an image from an email that is going around on Next Door and created quite a bit of chatter. The image compares the school taxes in Forsyth to some of the surrounding counties. Assuming this data is accurate, it’s shocking to look at. I’m not sure the logic behind the counties selected (no Dawson or Gwinnet), my guess is maybe some cherry-picking for the starkest comparisons, but that’s whatever…I used these same counties in the data that I pulled together so it's apples-to-apples.

If you tell me Person A spent $60,000 on a car and Person B spent $20,000, I don’t have enough information to make any assumptions about the value of their spend. But once I know that Person A bought a Mercedes and Person B bought a Kia Forte, I now have a better picture of the spend and what they received in return. The added context, i.e. what we are getting in return, is information we need to close the decision loop on our budget.
It’s probably true, Forsyth residents pay about double ($859 per the image going around) what Douglas residents pay ($418). But as compared to Douglas, Forsyth has double the avg rank test scores (.881 to .474), more than double college readiness (51.3 to 16.6), +54% on reading proficiency (79 to 51), more than double math proficiency (71 to 33), and +22% on CCRPI (92.7 to 75.9). So, essentially, we have double the school taxes but twice as good of a school system. Seems like a fair return on investment.
In addition to the school tax, here are five charts I created to compare the Forsyth County school system to other districts. This is what we are getting in return for our higher than desired school taxes. These charts compare overall testing scores, reading and math proficiency, college readiness, another college and career readiness ranking, and efficiency of budget. Since my expertise and career are not in education, I can’t tell you which metrics are the best measure of a districts education system, but hopefully these stats cover a lot of the bases. I created these charts only for the six counties from the original image on tax dollars being sent around. The counties are Forsyth, Douglas, Henry, Hall, Paulding, and Cherokee. These are the most obvious and low-hanging fruit stats I could easily obtain through minimal searching.

One thing is clear, none of the surrounding counties are providing results even close to what we are getting in Forsyth County. No matter the metric, Forsyth is head-and-shoulders above the other counties in this study. And even where we can infer additional information about our standing statewide from these charts, Forsyth is near the top of the entire state with a rank of 8th out of 198 districts in Average Rank Score, and in the 99th percentile for CCRPI (College and Career Readiness Score).
This comes down to priorities and each person’s financial situation. Maybe you don’t prioritize education highly and you want to buy the Kia Forte, I’m not trying to change your priorities. Maybe you have no kids, and you want to buy the 2004 Corolla with hand crank windows of education, and that’s your choice…just prepare for your future neighbors and community members around you to bear the fruits of poor education. Maybe you just can’t afford the increase and suddenly having to move or make difficult financial choices becomes a much bigger personal issue than a great school system, that's totally fair. So, none of this is to tell you what your priorities should be. I’m also not smart enough to know exactly where our tax dollars should go in terms of education, how much of the budget is just bloated government waste, and I don’t know at what point we are faced with diminishing returns. I just want to share information about the other 50% of the equation, which is too often ignored and that is the amazing school system we all enjoy and benefit from.
These results didn’t happen by luck, they happened because we have administration mostly making good choices, we have amazing teachers, support staff, infrastructure, tools and yes…the funds to support it. Heck, we even have objectively the number one custodian in the entire country in Kelly Mill’s Rich Toomey who won Custodian of the Year for the U.S. this year. I don’t want to make this about dismissing anyone’s concern regarding high taxes, I’m personally conflicted about my own property tax bill increase. I only want to remind everyone that we should not take for granted what we have, why we have it, and the direction it can go if we take our eye off the ball. You get what you pay for, and generally speaking in Forsyth County we are buying the Mercedes of education, while many counties around us are buying a Kia Forte.

Me(22 years old at the time) and she(21 years old at the time) was togheter for 4 years. So I recieved like 300 messages form her and her boyfirend to ask me to pay so they can fly back home and explain me. But I ghosted them and so their parents(which one i send the pictures too) didn't want to help them out. They was calling me and crying and begging me to pay for them. Obviously i didn't and so after 2 days they want back home and they broke up. She is still texting me and calling me to give her another chance. But I just ghost her ahahah

This is sort of a hot take, but I feel this is really the only way for me to air out my thoughts while being semi-anonymous.
I'm 21 (almost 22), a virgin (go figure) and in the military. While serving has been the best thing going for me physically, mentally is a different animal. My mind is just one big clusterfuck of lustful fantasies involving being with women I barely know which has escalated to the point where these fantasies involve sex, marriage and children. I have 1 interaction with a woman who happens to be given me unwarranted attention in the moment and I'm head over heels for her. I'm too big of a pussy to actually go out of my way to talk to her. So I resort more to my 'comfort zone' and just fantasize. It's like an unhealthy escape for me. I fear rejection and I obviously can't taste rejection in my mind because nobody can tap into my brain more than I can. When it comes to rejection, I stress many things like my appearance, mannerisms, having a lot in common her, and ultimately, acceptance. On the latter, I feel like the women I work with or fantasize about are seeking materialistic things. You have to be in-shape with a good sense of humor and good taste in music, video games, movies, etc. Women gravitate to those men, not those who are visibly struggling and just want an equal opportunity at love. Like myself, they're often overlooked. Why? Maybe they'd be a burden to them and being with somebody who has more of their shit together is within the woman's comfort zone. They just don't want to be bothered; Or maybe I'm seeking the wrong woman.
But I try everyday to make up for the ignorance that has plagued my life for so many years, all because I had a deep hatred for those people. When I was younger, I was too focused on going against the norm, thinking that was the solution to peace-of-mind, and giving into the norm was a weakness to me, but ironically it made my situation a lot worse and now I find myself depressed and vengeful. If I wasn't serving the military, which is the best thing that has happened to me in life so far; If I was still living at that broken home and going to college for some dead-end degree, with absolutely nothing going for me, I would've probably killed myself.
I have a new lease on life from where I'm at, but it unfortunately comes with this never-ending longing for a woman with whom I can celebrate her differences as she can mine. At this point, I feel like with a woman, I can finally find peace and be an overall happier person.
Is my thinking flawed? How can I stop fantasizing and how can I at least offset my lustful desires? How can you guys be virgins and stay sane (lol)? I appreciate your time nonetheless.

Hello gamers, as part of documenting the new Advanced consoles for the wiki, we have run into a bit of a roadblock in that we don't know what R&D materials the queues released after November 2015 drop - nor does it state in-game like older queues do.
Every advanced and elite queue in the game has an associated very rare quality R&D material with it, for example Vault: Ensnared and Crystalline Catastrophe on Advanced or Elite will always drop a Radiogenic Particle, Infected: The Conduit will always drop a Trellium-K, and so on. The wiki has this information noted for all queues released in Season 11: New Dawn and prior, but anything past that is a mystery (and is also when Cryptic stopped including it in queue descriptions). As a result, we need to know the associated R&D drops for the following queues:
