2023.06.08 12:55 eriksmart Best Portable Massage Table – Top 10 Choice
| Best Portable Massage Table Whether you are a professional masseuse, you are just starting out or you are a DIY masseuse at home, getting the best portable massage table for your home or for a massage therapy business, is very important because this will determine how successful you will become in the business and how great your home massage experience will be. When it comes to the value and quality of massage tables, professionals in this field know the need for quality portable massage tables, especially for their business. However, no matter where you plan on using the portable massage table, people choose to get massages for various reasons. A professional offering a therapeutic massage with some good oils and candles (for ambiance!) to a client – can be an enjoyable and incredibly relaxing experience, or a DIY just offering a relaxing massage moment to their partner at home as a way to ease muscle tension and aid in recovery. Getting a portable massage table that’s light enough to carry (mobile friendly), but also sturdy and comfortable enough for your client to feel relaxed and safe is all you need to enable a smooth work experience. To help you get the best portable massage table, we have listed our top recommended portable massage tables out there in the market. What Is The Best Portable Massage Table? Things You Need To Know There are several massage practices and as a result of this, different types of massage tables have been designed to suit every practice. Depending on the type you offer as a professional, you will need to ensure that the massage table you opt for truly suits the purpose. Whether you specialize in Sports Massage, Reflexology Massage, Thai Massage, Shiatsu Massage, Deep Tissue Massage, Aromatherapy Massage, or Swedish Massage, there are massage tables that are provided to suit your practice. So, you should go for what works best for your massage practice. Best Portable Massage Table Material Used for the Table There are different types of materials used for portable massage tables, however, leather is proven to be the best choice because of its quality and long-lasting. It is also easy to maintain a leather massage table; all you will need to do is to use leather balms to keep it fresh and increase its longevity. One disadvantage of a leather massage table is its price. For beginners or DIYers, you may not want to go for this, if you are a professional masseuse it is recommended you get this because it would be worth it in the end. You should also know that there are imitation leathers, these leathers are not as strong as the original ones. This is why they cost less, if you are on a tight budget, you could go for imitation leather because they are less expensive. However, you should also know that the imitation material does not last as long as real ones but they can still do the job. Comfort And Padding Padding is another important thing you should check for your portable massage table. It is recommended to always go for tables with thicker padding, this will your clients a better massage experience. When you get a massage table with very thick padding, it can help give your client great satisfaction. It also makes the massage table durable as well. Massage tables made with memory foam mattresses are the best if you can get them. They last longer than any other. Mobility of the Table In this article, we focused more on the best portable massage tables. You need to know that there are other massage tables that are not portable. So, if you run a stationary masseuse center and you are not planning on moving equipment, the larger and heavier tables will work perfectly for you. On the other hand, if your job is more mobile than stationary – that is, you plan on doing home services for your clients, a lighter portable massage table would be perfect for you. There are some models that you can easily fold and unfold as you pack for your services, make sure you choose these models to save you some time, heavy packing, and effort. You could go for the ones that you can easily carry around with handles. Most importantly, ensure that the massage table can carry a lot of weight. Features of the Table Portable massage tables come with different features. There are some that are short, and there are some that are long, also they come with several table extensions such as armrests, headrests, etc. These extensions can be very useful but you should make sure that they are designed accurately with the massage table to avoid any inconveniences. Although the extensions provide better comfort for the client during the massage, they can be difficult and time-consuming to adjust for each client. But if you can get the automated ones, things will be a whole lot easier for you since they can easily be adjusted with a simple touch of a button. The automated message tables can really be fancy to the client and can also attract their attention. A big disadvantage of the automated massage table is machine breakdown. If you did not get a good quality automated massage table, it may only take a few months and the machine will break down leaving you with a piece of messy and non-functional equipment. Budget and Price Before you consider buying a portable massage table, you will need to know your budget and also determine the price range you are looking at. You should also understand that budgeting will help cut down on the numerous massage table out there and take you straight to what you really have the money for. But before you draw your budget, you should know the main purpose you want the massage table to fulfill, how often you intend to use it, and the weight you want it to carry. With that said, you should know that the cost of these portable massage tables starts anywhere around $250 for the low grades all the way up to $1500 for the professional massage tables that can be used for any purpose. 2023.06.08 12:55 rekone88 Car got broken into in Barcelona, looking for advice
So my sisters rental car was broken into in Barcelona, and all of our luggage was stolen. According to my sister it was going to be covered under her homeowners insurance, which hey great, we were going to split the cost of the deductible and be all good. She was afraid that she was commiting insurance fraud, (even though we were robbed) and she asked her adjuster if she could put my wife and I's stuff on her claim, and of course they said no and that we would have to file our own claim. Does this make sense, even though the car rental was in her name?

2023.06.08 12:55 icedouttank AITA for accidentally “fracturing” my sisters finger?
So I 17f am i the oldest of 5 in my family and that means i automatically get shotgun when the whole family is driving. This always pisses off my sister 15f for some reason but she knows that i’ve worked to deserve it and she can get it any other time when i’m not there. Now the other day me and my sister got into a huge fight and we weren’t really speaking to each other. That same day me, her, my brother and my mom where going to the mall. She got to the car before me and i saw her going for my seat. I told her loud and clear that i would pull her out of my seat if she didn’t get out by the time i got there. She sat there all smug so i didn’t exactly what i told her i would. She clung onto the seat and fought back. when she fell on the ground i accidentally stepped on her hand. She started crying hysterically that i “broke her finger” and her and my mom went to the emergency room. after an x-ray they said that i was NOT broken and that i could possibly be fractured or something along those lines.

2023.06.08 12:54 SadWorry6182 Not sure how to feel about a recent Monastery I went to… looking for thoughts.
Upon entry of a Buddhist monastery in the Himalayan mountains, I was rather taken aback. Inside was a Buddha statue with a wide grin and wide taunting eyes. At his feet was a big bowl of money. Next to him was a rather large donation box. With the box was a monk patiently waiting for me to either donate or leave.
The monk and numerous signs were insistent that I donate money. Now I must note that I felt the monk was acting coldly to me; quick rough responses to questions, quick impatient seeming actions as if my mere presence was a bother to him, and overall seemed annoyed. I apologize if my presence was annoying or unwelcome, I was polite and quiet but that’s beyond the point. Feels as if my faith has been damaged by seeing greed and desire within a monastery. Feels like it goes against the very point of Buddhism with releasing yourself of greed and desire. It also brought dismay to my sensitive emotions as I thought all were welcome. I suppose not me, which is not surprising in the least, as I’ve never been welcome anywhere. I’m aware a monastery needs money to prevail, but to be so wanting in the people who just wish to pray seems wrong to me. Alas, perhaps I am a fool and my preconceptions false. So I ask, am I just a fool to believe my money isn’t all that is wanted? Am I not wanted at where I thought refuge would be?
Clarification: The Monastery was open and the monk seemed not to be preoccupied upon my arrival. I believe I was quiet, polite, and non intrusive. Before my arrival, I heard singing coming from the monastery which drew me in. It evoked powerful emotions which now feel like lies. I waited for the singing to cease as to not intrude on anything.

2023.06.08 12:54 CrazyFinnishdude The criticisms of MCU humor feel either exaggerated or something that has always been around
OK, two things before getting to my rant.
- I don't want to come across as a butthurt MCU fanboy or anything like that. While I don't agree with the biggest doomsayers, who believe that everything post-Endgame has been pure crap and MCU has no hope of recovering, I do believe that their average quality has gone down and they are putting out too many things too fast. Even though I would say that (having not seen Quantumania at the time of writing this) only one of the Phase 4/5 projects has been outright terrible (Love & Thunder), outside of selected few they haven't been anything to write home about either. So, I'm not saying that MCU is perfect or doesn't deserve some of the criticisms it has been getting, but I do feel that some of the more popular complaints aren't deserved.
- I understand that different movies and franchises are looked through different "standards". Like, to give a personal example, if and when they get around to rebooting the Friday the 13th franchise, I'm going to look at it less critically than I did the recent Halloween sequel trilogy, even though both are slasher franchises, since F13th movies have always been simple "popcorn horror", while the orignal Halloween is to this day the best of the slasher subgenre and overall a horror classic. So, I try my best to keep all my examples of other movies getting a pass on stuff that people hate about MCU to ones that fall to a similar league/target demographic as MCU.
Anyway, while it would be inaccurate to say that MCU never had its detractors and critics, they have become more vocal phase-by-phase. Just looking at this very sub, you can bet real money on that when a new MCU project comes out, it is going to be followed by a rant about how either that project specifically or MCU as a whole is killing blockbusters/cinema/creator-driven art. Many famous directors speaking againts MCU certainly doesn't help. Like I hopefully already made clear in my point 1 above, I don't think some of that criticisms isn't deserved, but at the same time, some of the more popular ones are things that have either been around blockbusters basically always, yet get treated as their invention, or get exaggerated to the point that it isn't an accurate take at all.
The complaint about "MCU humor" probably annoys me the most. While there certainly are plenty of examples of MCU following a serious moment with a joke and some of them took that style of humor too far (hello the two Thor movies directed by Taika Waititi) or the jokes just fell flat period (most of the sexual humor around Black Widow in Iron Man 2, Fury losing his eye because of a cat in Captain Marvel, all of the Fat-Thor stuff in Endgame etc.), a lot of people have a very flanderized idea of MCU's humor.
First of all, if you are that guy who writes "that just happened" everytime people talk about MCU humor, you are basically admitting in my eyes that you are just parroting a meme, without having seen many MCU movies yourself, because so far zero MCU movies or tv-shows have done that joke.
Second, this idea that blockbusters used to take themselves seriously pre-MCU keeps popping up everywhere and I don't know how anyone can believe that. Oblivously styles of humor change depending on the era of cinema we are talking about and some individual movies are more serious than the others, but like, blockbusters have always been about giving the audience a fun ride, which includes ton of comic-relief. How are the constant one-liners in 80's action movies fundamentally any different from MCU quips? The dialogue of your average buddy cop action/comedy doesn't sound all that different from typical MCU movie's. If Pirates of the Caribbean was released today, so many people who currently hold it as an example of the "good-ol' days" of blockbusters would now scream how it "MCU-fied" the pirate/swashbuckler genre. Can you imagine how many people would say that Cameron turned T-800 into a "MCU character", if T2 came out today and had all the same goofy moments between the Terminator and John Connor? Frigging Ghostbusters, which film nerds love to put on this huge pedestal, basically invented the MCU formula of putting a group of comedic actors into a sci-fi/fantasy/adventure plot and letting them riff their way through it.
Lastly, it has been very interesting to compare the discourse around the Spider-Verse movies in comparison to MCU (side-note, I will mention something from Across the Spider-Verse, which hasn't been in the trailers or the like. It's nothing plot-relevant, but this is your warning, if you haven't seen the movie and don't want to know anything before it). Obviously the two are stylistically very different, since one is live-action and the other animated, but I don't think they are tonally that different. And yet, there are so many jokes in Spider-Verse that MCU could never get away with making, without all the nerds going mad on twitter. To give one example from each, MCU made one joke about how it's kinda silly that the real name of a super-villain with an octopus-gimmick just happens to be "Otto Octavius", while ATSPV uses in-name-only version of Scarlet-Spider as a walking parody of the angsty writing of the 90's comics and the point seems to be "this character is lame", in a movie franchise that is clearly going for a meta-message of "every incarnation of Spider-Man is valid". I'm not interested in starting/being part of any "MCU vs. Spider-Verse" flamewars, but it is kinda weird how it is the former that fans generally see as the filmmakers being disrespectful to the source material.
At the end of the day, humor is and will always be very subjective. There's isn't really any objective way to measure which jokes are or aren't effective, especially when it comes to globally released big budget movies, which are seen by people from various different cultural backrounds. Like, I remember how super mad everyone in America got over the "what are those?!" joke in Black Panther, since that was apparently a reference to a meme/shoe commercial, but that was never a thing in Finland, so I just saw it as a cute joke about a sister teasing her brother. But, in terms of the "MCU formula", people have really warped idea of their style of humor, to the point that they have developed a selective memory around them and blockbusters in general. Not saying you have to like them, but please stop with the "that just happened" and "blockbusters used to be serious" nonsense.

2023.06.08 12:54 noblequoteusa Extended Car Warranty - NobleQuote: A Comprehensive Review
I recently purchased this warranty for my vehicle, and I thought it would be helpful to share my thoughts and insights with you all.
Firstly, let me give you a brief overview of what an extended car warranty is for those who may be unfamiliar. An extended car warranty is a service contract that provides coverage for certain repairs and replacements beyond the manufacturer's original warranty period. It can be a valuable investment, especially for older vehicles or those with high mileage.
Now, onto NobleQuote. I decided to go with this company after conducting extensive research and comparing various options available in the market. Here are some key points that stood out to me:
- Coverage Options: They offers a range of coverage plans tailored to different needs and budgets. They have plans that cover major components such as the engine, transmission, and electrical systems, as well as more comprehensive plans that include additional components like the air conditioning system, suspension, and brakes. Their customizable plans allowed me to choose the coverage that best suited my vehicle's requirements.
- Affordable Pricing: One of the main reasons I chose it was their competitive pricing. Compared to other providers I looked into, their rates were quite reasonable, especially considering the level of coverage they offer. Additionally, they provided flexible payment options that made it easier for me to manage the cost.
- Claim Process: I had a positive experience with NobleQuote's claim process. When I encountered an issue with my vehicle, I contacted their customer service, and they guided me through the steps to file a claim. They were responsive, efficient, and made sure I had all the necessary documentation. Once the claim was approved, the payment process was hassle-free, and the repairs were promptly taken care of.
- Nationwide Network of Repair Facilities: It has a vast network of authorized repair facilities across the country. This was a significant advantage for me as I travel frequently and wanted to ensure I could access reliable repair services wherever I might be. The convenience of finding a trusted repair shop, even in unfamiliar locations, gave me peace of mind.
- Additional Benefits: Along with the extended warranty coverage, they offers additional benefits like roadside assistance, towing services, rental car reimbursement, and trip interruption coverage. These perks can be incredibly valuable, especially during unexpected breakdowns or emergencies on the road.
Overall, my experience with their
Extended Car Warranty has been positive. Their coverage options, affordable pricing, efficient claim process, extensive repair network, and additional benefits make them a reputable choice in the market. However, it's important to note that individual experiences may vary, and it's crucial to thoroughly research and understand the terms and conditions before making a decision.
I hope this review helps those of you who are considering an extended car warranty. If you have any questions or if you've had experiences with NobleQuote, please feel free to share in the comments below!

2023.06.08 12:54 MH_MUSTANG Possible electric revival of Britain's Austin Motor Company? Link in post.
| So I stumbled across this website while looking up some info about Austin Motors, and there seems to be an electric revival of the brand in the works. Does anyone know anything about this? There's little to no information about it online (except for on the website). They only have one car displayed on their page, the Austin Electric Arrow, with a release around late 2022, but this deadline seems to have been missed. It looks amazing but I'm naturally skeptical as to whether this will ever see the light of day. I'd love to see a revival of this brand (along the same vein as the lovely Morris Commercial JE). It kinda reminds me of an electric Caterham. Link to website: https://www.austinmotorcompany.com/the-austin-arrow/ submitted by MH_MUSTANG to CarTalkUK [link] [comments] |

2023.06.08 12:53 LordEldritchia Looking for a Cookeville job as a student, no prior experience. Advice wanted!
I’ve already browsed through local job listings to see what might be available, but I just wanted to branch out and see if I can get any suggestions or recommendations! Looking for pointers on open jobs, suggestions on where to look, general advice, etc. I’ve included more detailed information about my situation below, but if you don’t want to read that much:
- Free Mon, Wed, Fri, Sat, Sun
- No car, can get one if needed
- Data/Art/Management strengths
- Communication difficulties
- Disabled (Autism is the primary issue, causes communication issues, audio processing disorder, selective mutism, and sensory issues)
———
I don’t have a car or a license. I could probably get one, but I’m disabled and driving is one of the things that’s probably best not to do. Definitely can do public transit if available or UbeLyft.
All of my classes are on Tuesday and Thursday, except for one math class in the early morning (0800-0850), so I’m mostly free on Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday.
I’d love a quiet data-focused job that doesn’t require working with customers often, but I’m aware that limited experience is going to make this unlikely. I don’t generally mind working with people, I just have difficulty doing so that likely makes me an undesirable worker and will need a break between interactions.
Things I’m good at and have experience in, though some may not be relevant:
- Art/Graphic Design (Mostly character or promotional work)
- Team/Event Management (Community manager for a game studio, managed volunteer teams, ran or organized several large scale events, led development teams, and a bit silly but I do have the experience of managing discord communities of 15k+ members)
- Data and Inventory (Ran inventory for my school store, which included setting up an entirely new data system that would streamline the inventory process, studied trends and worked on finding most successful current and future products)
- Communications (Good at public speaking, writing professional emails, social media manager, dealing with online customer service)
Things I’m not good at:
- Interpersonal Communication (Because of my disability, having non-professional relationships is hard, I don’t think I could handle a job that’s mainly or has a lot of personal socialization)
- As a follow up to the above, I also have some difficulties with selective mutism (losing the ability to speak) when overstimulated
- Additional follow up, I tend to speak plainly, not emote, have a flat tone, and not coat with formalities, tending to make people think I’m rude, which probably means directly talking to customers will be difficult
- Unclear Rules (I need things spelled out or the ability to work entirely in my own bubble, or I will certainly miss things entirely; I do not understand nonverbal cues or “common sense” social norms)
- Environments with Complex Noise (I use noise cancelling headphones)
- I’m a bit too detail oriented, so I really struggle with making things “good enough” and not “good as it can possibly be”

2023.06.08 12:53 Alessia_plushlover Harness types for dachshunds?
Looking to buy a harness for my ween and i was wondering which one might be the best to use. I'm looking for one that isn't too expensive but also has a front clip and is adjustable. I've researched some brand and the doffle dog no pull harness seems best for us. What do you guys recommend? Harnesses that dont have mesh? Ones with mesh? Feel free to send links or recommend some from anywhere! (Im from europe so it would help if they have worldwide shipping). The one we have has no mesh but the part at the neck is too big and just the one on her back secures her from not escaping. Also, double leash recommendations? (To clip to a collaback clip and a frontal clip simultaneously)

2023.06.08 12:53 Life-Cryptographer78 Going to look at an 05 rx8 today
So I'm going to look an 05 rx8 Gt mt today theyre asking $4000. Im hoping you guys can give me some tips as im not super familiar with the platform. Looks to be in pretty good shape has about 105k miles. It says new plugs, coils, wires. Only used prem fuels and had 2 stroke oil mixed to protect seals. Only mod is factory cat delete with aftermarket midpipe.
Just wondering what things I should check for that I can do on a test drive. It's going to be a second car(I just want to keep the miles down on my 23 wrx) so I'd like to get a atleast couple years out of it. Plan to do compression tests if I buy it cause I'm not sure I'll be able to get it in on short notice. Not really sure what to look for when I check it out so any tips would be greatly appreciated!

2023.06.08 12:53 Content_Call5083 NSB (Straud Legacy) Gen 7 Ep. 118: The One Left Behind
| The Story of a Family Told in Web Comic Format --------------------------------------------- When Peachy graduated early, his brother found himself feeling “left behind”, even though school was one of his favorite things. His grades were better than Peachy’s, but focusing on schoolwork and magic had left him lacking in the real-world skills needed for early graduation. https://preview.redd.it/br0om15zxr4b1.png?width=1920&format=png&auto=webp&s=7986fc3679d4b1dca2c99d0a5777982bf33eaaec --------------------------------------------- Watching the adults fawning over his “twin” the afternoon he came home with his big news, August worried that they might think less of him for not earning the same accelerated option, even though it wasn’t one he had ever wanted. More free time sounded nice, but he appreciated learning about things he’d never even think of looking into on his own from his teachers. He also knew that other sims, like his cousin Paul, really benefited from his companionship during lunch and free periods. https://preview.redd.it/8exq1pszxr4b1.png?width=1920&format=png&auto=webp&s=080afeb36a80da1fa17238732e14c09737eab2f4 --------------------------------------------- Finding himself unable to sleep one night shortly after Peachy’s graduation August headed upstairs to the gym. He wasn’t sure what to do about his unhappy feelings, but he always felt better after a good workout, and the punching bag seemed to be calling his name. He definitely didn’t want to punch his brother, but wailing on that poor leather cylinder felt really fulfilling just then. He threw his padded gloves around hot and heavy, enjoying the solid smack of each wild swing. His inexperience and recklessness came back to bite him, when a particularly crazy roundhouse rewarded him with an entirely new popping sound, in his suddenly stinging shoulder. https://preview.redd.it/ayul6o10yr4b1.png?width=1920&format=png&auto=webp&s=fc701be937581ed110071959bc44dd798079c1e7 --------------------------------------------- August ditched his workout clothes and went back to his homework, cursing his dumb move. He tried to convince himself that his shoulder didn’t hurt that badly, so maybe he could just ignore it. If he could make himself believe there wasn’t a problem, then surely it had to be true. Unfortunately, his shoulder seemed to resent being ignored, and refused to contribute to holding up his textbook properly. His ghostly grandmother spotted a descendant in need of counsel and took a seat next to him. His ability to pretend to be fine faltered under her concerned gaze, but he politely refused her suggestion to get it looked at by a professional at the clinic, as he was sure it would be better tomorrow. https://preview.redd.it/syx4onb0yr4b1.png?width=1920&format=png&auto=webp&s=cb034132d5cd174b39bb622893374f48d591347a --------------------------------------------- He was wrong. The pain in his shoulder only got worse overnight and disturbed his sleep every time he tried to roll onto that side. By the time morning rolled around, a literally rest-less August had to admit his grandmother had been right and asked his dad for a lift to the clinic. https://preview.redd.it/83tmefl0yr4b1.png?width=1920&format=png&auto=webp&s=88a540bf0440904919d0bb2f425c8306857ad92f --------------------------------------------- At the farm, August hadn’t wanted to talk about his injury, but the quiet waiting room seemed to pressure them to fill the time. When Steven gently encouraged his son to share whatever was troubling him, August opened up about the feelings behind his ill-fated flailings. Scholastic achievement was a key part of his identity, and when his slacker brother suddenly pulled ahead, it had embarrassed him. He was jealous Peachy had been offered early graduation when he hadn’t, and concerned his family would think less of him for lacking the same skills. https://preview.redd.it/2yqh9yv0yr4b1.png?width=1199&format=png&auto=webp&s=5c13cbca5d6cc93fdc1913a8f18424d869dc15c8 --------------------------------------------- Steven quickly assured him that everyone knew Peachy could not have caught back up at school without his help. Steven was terribly proud of the way his second son cared for family and friends, pursued art and scholarship with dedication, and had already become an adept mage without a magical bloodline. As far as he was concerned August didn’t have anything to prove to anybody, and he needn’t rush to remake himself in his brother’s image. His father’s support made August feel worlds better. He could enjoy his studies and schoolmates for as long as he wanted, working hard at the things he loved. When the doc declared his injury minor and under control, August was ready to head home with a happy heart, excited about his future. https://preview.redd.it/fj1y6mm1yr4b1.png?width=1920&format=png&auto=webp&s=8bfabdac16def1b1ff78213a0c50863a537610b3 --------------------------------------------- I started this series to share my sim story, and I love hearing from you.
